Stephane is the son to Christian Coquillette of Champagne Saint-Chamant. Stephane at age 25, mentored by his father, set up shop in the Cote Des Blancs Grand Cru village of Chouilly. Stephane's Cuvee Diane is 100% of Chardonnay from Chouilly and the 1er Cru village Cuis, of vines planted in 1964.
